Rev. Gary L. Hagan

July 8, 1948 ~ July 12, 2016

Gary L Hagan, age 68 of Camdenton, MO passed away peacefully, Tuesday July 12, 2016. Gary was born July 8, 1948 in Hamburg, IA the son of the late Joe and Marjorie (Branstetter) Hagan.

Gary grew up in Mexico, MO and graduated from Mexico High School in 1966. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University in 1970 and Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in 1974. Gary served as a pastor with the Disciples of Christ Christian Church for 40 years serving churches in La Belle, Hannibal and Gallatin, MO, Bentonville, AR, Bartlesville, OK and Laurie, MO were he retired due to poor health.

He was united in marriage to Patricia L Head on August 12, 1972. They were married for 43 years and 11 months.

Gary is survived by his wife Patricia L Hagan; three daughters, Sarah E Hagan, Rebecca L Hagan and Tessa K Hagan; two granddaughters, Rylee and Lorelei; one brother, Paul N. Hagan and his wife Jill from Indianapolis, IN; four nephews, Sean and Ryan Hagan, Nathan and Zachary Head and one niece, Christina Head.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marjorie Hagan and one son, Patrick Reid Hagan.

Memorial services to be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
