Claude Melvin Gwinn

May 10, 1926 ~ May 16, 2007

A memorial service for Claude Melvin Gwinn, 81, of Stillwater, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church. Ken Harder will officiate. Arrangements are by Palmer Marler Car-berry Funeral Home, Stillwater.

He was born May 10, 1926, in Helena to Louis and Mary Alice Gwinn and died Wed-nesday, May 16, 2007, in Stillwater.

He served in the Navy during World War II. He married Marie Noonan Aug. 14, 1961, in Stillwater. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Elks and served as chaplain in the Stillwater chapter. He was employed by Oklahoma State University as an electronics engineer.

Surviving are his wife, Marie, of the home; two sons, Gary Frick of California and Randy Frick of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Verla Holguin of Stillwater and Kayla Gwinn of Key Largo, Fla.; one brother, Roy Gwinn of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
