Vada Cleo (Napier) Guy
October 10, 1942 ~ September 13, 2020

Vada Cleo (Napier) Guy, known to all as "Cleo", was born on October 10, 1942 in Lyon Switch, Oklahoma and departed this life with her family at her side on September 13, 2020 in Joplin, MO at 77 years 11 months and 3 days of age.

On July 5, 1959, Cleo married her sweetheart, James Alfred “Jim” Guy. They were blessed with a wonderful family and over 58 years of marriage.

Cleo worked various jobs over the years. She enjoyed working outside around the farm. She really enjoyed “bush” hogging. Cleo was extremely crafty. Her hobbies included baking cakes, crocheting and beadwork.

She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Cleo will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel Jasper and Margaret Elvina (Dearman) Napier; brothers: Isaac Taylor (Little Brother) Napier and Billie Joe Napier; sisters: Lily Lou (Little Sister) Napier and Thelma Juanita Unger; husband: James “Jim” Guy; and son: Jimmy Dean Guy.

Cleo is survived by a loving family that includes son: Jerry Guy and daughter: Carol Elsey, all of the home in Bluejacket, OK, daughter: Connie Chandler and husband Kevin of Tahlequah, OK, grandsons: J R Vickery, Lane Chandler, granddaughters: Kristy Guy, Jennifer Bailey, Kerry Guy, Laci Chandler, eight great grandchildren, two brothers: Bruce Napier of Greenland, AR and James Napier of Westville, OK, one sister: Judy Hansen of Westville, OK, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Her service was held, Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Roberts Hart Funeral Home in Westville, OK.
