Charlotte Ann "Sherry" Guy
July 12, 1957 ~ April 6, 2021

Charlotte (Sherry) Ann Guy, 63, of 511 W. Locust Fairview, OK passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born July 12, 1957 in Wichita, KS the daughter of the late Ronald and Mary Guy.

Sherry started her professional career at Raytheon as a CNC turret punch operator where she worked for 19 years. Afterwards she moved to Fairview, OK and began working for the city in the Street Department where through hard work and dedication she became the Operations Manager. She retired in 2020 after many years of service to the community.

She was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, Gigi, sister and friend. Sherry met the love of her life in 1998 when she met Becky Balding while working together at Raytheon where they spent the next 23 years together. She was an amazing and loving Nana. Any friends of Sherry knew they had a friend for life.

Some of her hobbies were riding motorcycles while teaching her daughter and grandchildren to ride as well and participating in Poker Runs. She also enjoyed fishing, woodworking and had an incredible green thumb. Through her love of woodworking, she did many projects for the family including marble boards and planters.

She is survived by her wife Becky Balding-Guy Fairview, OK; daughters Ronda Johnson of Wichita, KS, Kelly (Kevin) Corder Mulvane, KS and Shannon (Thomas) Swigert Winfield, KS; brothers Darrell (Pam) Guy Wichita, KS and Carl (Sandy) Guy Searcy, AR; grandchildren Kylea, Ali, Shelby, Kyle, Aaron, Charlie, Seth, Kasey, Alex, Adam, Deagan, Connor and Brayleigh; greatgrandchildren Julian & Marley; sister-in-law Karen Barnett; brother-in-law Don (Betty) Abel; nieces Taryn Trapani and Teresa (Jason) Cobble; nephews Trey Trapani, Dan (Mel) Leet, Zach Leet, Brett Nix and Sheldon Guy as well as numerous cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Ronni Leet. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
