William Henry Gunter, Jr.

William Henry Gunter, Jr.
March 7, 1951 ~ June 4, 2019

William Henry Gunter Jr., the son of William Henry Gunter Sr. and Tessie Louetta Abbott was born March 7, 1951 in Herlong, California and departed this life on June 4, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 28 days.

William was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things of life. Spending time with his grandchildren was the most important thing to him. He enjoyed working around the house doing handyman jobs because he could fix anything, and supervising, because he was good at it. He enjoyed gardening and he liked to go squirrel hunting. William was kind to everyone and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He respected everyone and just expected the same in return. William touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his daughter, Amanda Gunter of Tahlequah; his sister, Margaret Humphrey and husband Frank of Stilwell; and his grandchildren, Mia Allen, Gunter Allen and Peyton Murphy. Several friends and other relatives also survive him.
