Billy Joe Gunter

April 03, 1938 ~ May 23, 2020

Billy Joe Gunter, 82, of Guthrie, OK was born on April 3, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK to William Oscar and Martha Jewel (Muir) Gunter. He passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Guthrie, OK.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty-seven years, Shirley Ann (Pruitt) Gunter; two sons, Eddie Gunter and James Gunter; seven grandchildren, Michael Gunter, Trevin Gunter, Clayton Gunter, Trenton Gunter, Hailey Self, Aspen Gunter, and Savanna Gunter; as well as many other loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 29, 2020 at Smith Memorial Chapel to honor Billy. Due to the Covid -19 restrictions, only 50 people may attend the service. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

There will not be any visitation.
