Bobby Merl Gunsaulis
November 8, 1929 ~ July 13, 2006

The funeral for Bobby Merl Gunsaulis, 76, of Fairview, will be 2 PM today at Fairview First Baptist Church. The Rev. David Mendenhall will officiate. He donated his body to science. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc., Fairview. Visitation will be 9 AM to 12 PM today at the funeral home and at the church prior to the service.

He was born November 8, 1929, west of Fairview to Floyd Bert and Pearl Chamberlain Gunsaulis and died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Fairview Fellowship Home.

He attended grade school at Sternberg. He worked in the oil fields several years and went on wheat harvest.

He married Vera Hemme on October 21, 1962.

He was a member of Orion Baptist Church and later attended First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Michael Todd Gunsaulis of Enid; two daughters, Susie Turner of Oklahoma City and Gerri Lindsey of Seneca, Missouri; two brothers, Lenny Gunsaulis of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Roy Ake of Ringwood; two sisters, Patsy Glass of Edmond and Emma Derrick of Woodward; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
