Robert Edward Guertin
August 4, 1944 ~ February 13, 2017

Robert Edward Guertin, 72, died February 13, 2017 at his home in Billings, OK. 

Born August 4, 1944 in Southbridge, MA. He was the son of Robert P. and Cecilia B. Guertin. 

Robert Guertin lived in Great Bend for many years and worked as a jailer at the Great Bend Sheriff Department. He was loved by many in the community. A veteran of the Air Force, Robert Guertin served from 1962 to 1966, receiving an honorable discharge. Robert enjoyed all kinds of racing and laughter with family and friends. 

Survivors include two sons, Michael Guertin of Galatia, KS and Robert Funk of Galatia, KS, three daughters, Chris Marshall of Wellington, KS, Kristy Bieberle of El Dorado, KS, and Carolyn Brasher of Hunter, OK. 

There will be a get-together to celebrate his life February 25, 2017 in Billings, OK. Starting between 10 a.m. and noon. There will also be one on March 4, 2017 in Great Bend, KS for all of his family and friends, details for Great Bend to come at a later time.
