Joyce Arlene (Ransbottom) Grutel

Joyce Arlene Grutel, 84, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died May 6, 2021. She was born to Alice Starks Ransbottom and Reginald Ransbottom on May 20, 1936 in Duluth, Minnesota. Joyce attended Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minnesota. She married Dale Nystrom in 1955, and Later married James Grutel in 1964. Joyce was a Cardiac Monitor Technician. She enjoyed traveling, reading, card games and crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Alice Ransbottom, sister, Joan Ellsworth and sister, Donna Ramirez.

Joyce is survived by her son, David and wife, Teresa Nystrom of Republic, Mo, son, Barry” Bear” and wife, Linda Nystrom of Livingston, Tx, daughter, Teresa and husband, Les Watson Jr. of Bartlesville, Ok, grandchildren; Loren Nystrom, Heidi Hitchcock, Tessa and husband, Dustin Hamilton, Rebecca Watson, Darianna Purkey, 9 great grandchildren, sister, Sue (Carroll) Stout, and brother-in-law, Leo Ramirez.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
