Preston Scott Grubbs
November 4, 1966 ~ November 30, 2020 (age 54)

Preston Scott Grubbs, age 54 of Macomb, OK, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in Ada, OK.

He was born November 4, 1966 in Midwest City, OK to Royce Dale and Betty Doris.

Preston was raised in Tecumseh and has been a lifelong resident of the Tecumseh/Macomb area.

He attended Tecumseh Public Schools and graduated with the Tecumseh High School class of 1984.

Preston married Toni Phillips on March 15, 2002 in Macomb.

He worked for the Shawnee Milling Company, and in road construction for APAC Construction, The City of Tecumseh, and most recently was a foreman for Haskel Lemons Asphalt.

Preston was a Senior DeMolay and DeMolay advisor, awarded the Legion of Honor through DeMolay, Pastmaster at Tecumseh Masonic Lodge #69, and a 32nd degree Mason with the Scottish Right in McAlester, OK.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping in his spare time.

Preston was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Samuel Grubbs.

He is survived by his wife Toni, of the home; sons, Brandon Dewayne Grubbs of Shawnee and Bradley Garrett Grubbs of Macomb; grandchildren, Aden, Rowdy, Gunner and Ricky; mother, Betty Doris Ingram; sisters, Tina Raye Coleman and Jennifer and husband, Bill St. Clair; brothers, Clayton and wife, Jana Grubbs and Russell and wife, Karla Grubbs; nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home.
