Loren Grothe
May 4, 1950 ~ August 21, 2021

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Loren Grothe, 71, of Enid, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, will be held privately under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Loren was born May 4, 1950, to Roy Delbert and Anna Mae Benson Grothe in Watonga, Oklahoma, and passed from this life August 21, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Okeene, graduating from Okeene High School in 1968. He became a welder and later worked with his brothers at Grothe Welding in Fairview. He moved to Kansas and continued his welding career, retiring in 2015. He loved riding motorcycles and enjoyed watching football.

He is survived by seven nieces: Cristy Blom, Terri Grothe, Cindy Evans, Shelly Alvarado, Debra Beck, Charity Grothe, and Chelsae Grothe, and four nephews: Chris Grothe, James McCarty, Michael Grothe, and Kenneth Dale Grothe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Donald, James, and Kenneth.
