Todd Christopher Gritzmaker, 46, of Winfield, KS passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2016.
Funerals Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 23rd at the First Baptist Church in Winfield, KS. Graveside services will follow at Highland cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22nd, at the Shelley memorial chapel in Winfield from 2-7 P.M. Memorials Contributions may be made out to The Cassy and Todd Gritzmaker Benefit Fund and can be deposited at any Cornerbank location or may be left in care of the Shelley Family funeral home.
Todd Christopher Gritzmaker was born on December 27th, 1969 to Craig Gritzmaker and Sandra McBride in Mount Pleasant, MI. Todd graduated from Coffeyville, KS Field Kindley high school in 1987. Todd was united in marriage to Cassandra Calvin on April 23rd, 2005 in Eureka Springs, AR. Todd loved spending time outdoors; hunting, attending car races, taking pictures, watching his son's football games, and playing slow pitch softball. He was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Tigers, the New York Yankees, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oklahoma Sooners. Todd was a motorcycle and car enthusiast, he was a part of the Mulvane Marauders, he loved to work on his Ford Mustang, and he loved to ride. Todd was very passionate about people; he was always helpful and friendly to everyone he met, but most important to Todd, was his family and the cherished time he spent with them.
Survivors include: father Craig Gritzmaker and wife Mary, mother Sandra McBride. His wife Cassandra Gritzmaker, daughter Kristal Lang and husband Keith, son Hunter Gritzmaker, daughter Hannah Gritzmaker, daughter Cheyenne Hill, and son John Hill. Brothers: Jason McBride and Ryan McBride; sisters: Mikelle Drzewianowski and Kylee Gritzmaker.
Grandparents: Aleeva Wilson, and Calvin and Ethel Gritzmaker. As well as several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his step-father Richard McBride.
