Clarence E. (Gene) Grim
June 2, 1940 ~ September 1, 2017

Funeral services for Clarence E. (Gene) Grim, 77, Enid, will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Chaplain Gail Edmison officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Clarence was born in Sayre, Oklahoma, the son of Clarence L (Jack) Grim and Helen L. Beebe on June 2, 1940 and passed away peacefully on September 1, 2017 at the Common's.  Gene worked for his father building houses, Autry Vo-Tech, Jim's Texaco in Sand Springs, and owner-operator of Gene's Tire and Auto in Sapulpa, later helping manage Cherokee Terrace Apartments.  Gene married Dee Ann Dunlap in Sand Springs on December 11, 1992. 

Gene is survived by his wife, Dee Ann;  four sons, Ronnie Wilson, Clarence, Jr., and Dwayne, W. Cory; four daughters, Sandra Conner, Janice Berryhill, Dorothy Grim, and Helen Grim; two stepsons, John Fisher and Jesse Fisher; brothers, Nolan, Johnnie and Charles; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Gene was preceded in passing by his parents, brother, Norman sister, Caltha Haines, and son Brian.

The family has selected memorial contributions be made payable to The Common's as appropriate.
