A Chapel service will be held at Peters Funeral Home for Clifford Griffith, age 69, who passed away September 24, 2004, on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at 1 p.m. Pastor Dean Long of the Free Will Baptist Church will officiate at the service.
Clifford Griffith was born in Cogar, Oklahoma, on June 27, 1935, to William and Gladys Griffith. He moved to Earlimart in 1937, and was raised there, moving to Shafter in 1952. He worked for Shafter Concrete and Pipe Co., and Wasco Cement Company for 40 years. He enjoyed Camping with his family.
Clifford was preceded by his parents, William and Gladys Griffith; daughter-in-law, Linda and granddaughter, Denise. He is survived by his "Lady Bess" beloved wife and companion of14 years; his children, Douglas Griffith and wife, Carrie, Sandra Snyder and husband, Wayne, Randy Griffith and wife, Tamara, Steven Griffith and wife, Sandra, Jimmi Stevens, and Denice Wilson and husband, Woody; sister, Etta Fleeman; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hoffman Hospice, and Elizabeth, Maritza and Janie.
