Sudie Lee (Hewett) Griffin

October 30, 1950 ~ August 27, 2023

Sudie Lee (Hewett) Griffin was born on October 30, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Frank Anson Hewett and Opal May (Shaffer) Hewett. She passed away on August 27, 2023, in her home in Blanchard, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

From early childhood until her passing, family was the most important thing to her. From her parents and siblings to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She spent her life loving and taking care of them. Sudie’s greatest loves were her grandchildren. Whether looking at recent artworks, going to t-ball or gymnastic meets, or going on little outings with them, she adored each one’s interests.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Opal, and siblings, Charlie, Eva, and Willa.

Sudie is survived by her husband, Ronny Griffin of Blanchard; son, Frank Rakestraw and wife, Elena, of Blanchard; daughter, Jill Rakestraw of Oklahoma City; daughter, Tiffany Griffin of Yukon; and son, Tyler Griffin and his wife, Tara, of Yukon; five grandchildren, Victoria, Taylor, Brody, Baleigh, and Benson; and many more loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard, Oklahoma. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
