Joseph Henry Griffin Jr.

April 28, 1924 ~ October 15, 2006

Joseph Henry Griffin Jr., 82 a resident of Evansville, Arkansas passed away October 15, 2006 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 28, 1924 at Wellington, Texas the son of Joseph Henry and Donnie Willis Griffin.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a former 32nd degree Mason.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Seward.
Survivors include his wife Caroly Howland Griffin, two daughters, Cindy Seward, Jan Wilhite and her husband Roger, three sons and daughter in law: Jason and Kathy Griffin, Henry and Carol Griffin, and Belva Griffin, one brother and sister in law, Willis and Shirley Griffin, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 17, 2006 at Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Arkansas with burial in the Academy Cemetery at Evansville, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
