Jim Griffin

March 15, 1937 ~ December 5, 2006

Funeral services for Jim Griffin, age 69, of Stilwell, were held Saturday December 9, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bobby Cothren officiating. Interment was held Monday, December 11, 2006 at Good Hope Cemetery in Grandin, Missouri under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Jim Griffin, the son of Lester Griffin and Harriett (Grubb) Griffin, was born March 15, 1937 in Grandin, Missouri. He departed this life December 5, 2006 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 20 days.

Jim was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Wilson.

He leaves to mourn his family which includes his wife, Helen, of the home; three sons, Sherman Standley and Margie Cochran, Allen Standley and finance, Kristina, and Travis Standley; four daughters, Nova Nye and husband, Lucky, Angela Ketcher and husband, Steven, Kathy Jaramillo, Tracy Standley and Nathan Rider; five brothers, Bobby Griffin, Charley Griffin, Jack Griffin and wife, Norma, Benny Griffin and Lloyd Griffin; two sisters, Barbara and husband, Cecil, Velma Griffin, and 13 grandchildren.
