David Warren Griffin
December 30, 1962 ~ December 29, 2020

 David Warren Griffin, 57, of Marietta, was born December 30, 1962 at Ardmore, the son of David A. Griffin and Lona L. Skaggs Griffin. He died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his residence.

A resident of Love County all of his life, David graduated from Turner High School in 1983 and then attended Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee. He was employed at Cochran's Hardware in Marietta during his high school years. He worked in the oilfield and later was a manger of S&L Ranch. When he was younger, he enjoyed coon and deer hunting, and caring for his cattle and horses. David was a member of Marietta's First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, David A. Griffin; brother, Haynie Brandon Lang; paternal grandparents, James Paul and Bertie Griffin; and maternal grandparents, Roy and Lucille Skaggs.

Survivors include his mother, Lona Lang of the Eastman community, Love County; niece, Kennedy Marie Allison of Shawnee; nephew, William Tucker Allison of Shawnee; special cousin, Penny Ashley and husband David of Lone Grove; and other relatives.

Per his request a private graveside service was held.
