Dianne Gail (Billings) Grice

"All people are good, but better are none, than all the seniors of '71!"
Gone but never forgotten. Enid High School Class of 1971

Dianne Gail (Billings) Grice
September 13, 1953 ~ August 22, 2007

On August 22, 2007, God gained an angel when the world lost one of its most amazing and courageous women, as we said farewell to Dianne Grice. After bravely battling cancer for 13 years, Dianne left us for a better place where she will watch over us all from the peace she now enjoys.

A truly beautiful person on the inside and out, Dianne Gail was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Roy and Nita Billings on September 13, 1953.

There, Dianne enjoyed a happy childhood alongside her two sisters, Kathy and Susie. She went on to attend Oklahoma State University, graduating with a degree in Psychology which she would later utilize in her 23 year career as the Corporate Human Resources Manager for the Auto Club of Southern California. In 1978, she met the love of her life, Paul and they were married in 1980 and lived in the South Bay for 28 years where they raised their two daughters, Brittany and Nikki. In her free time, Dianne relished shopping, walks along the Strand, and sharing a good cup of coffee with friends. She counted restaurant Chez Melange, interior design, traveling and Trader Joes fresh flowers amongst her favorite things.

Dianne leaves us with a myriad of fond memories and an incredible life story from which everyone she knew can draw inspiration. Her selflessness and generosity she showed to all and the extraordinary grace she consistently carried herself with are hallmarks of Diannes character that we will always remember. She impressed upon everyone she met the importance of living life fearlessly and to its fullest. Dianne served as a constant reminder to believe in miracles and the power of love.

Private memorial services will be held on her upcoming September 13th birthday.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested charitable donations be made in Dianne's name either to Cheer for Children, PMB 280, P.O. Box 7000, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, her favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.

Dianne will be dearly missed, never forgotten, and loved always. (Paid Obit 9-9-1)
