The services celebrating and honoring the life of Justin Lane Greven, 31, of Enid, will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday August 20, 2023, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. A come and go gathering for family and friends will be held following the service at Settler’s Brewery from 2:00 P.M. – 6:00P.M. Complete cremation and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Justin Lane Greven was born April 21, 1992, to John and Cindy Young Greven in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life August 12, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma
Justin was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Lincoln Alternative Academy with the class of 2011. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy at a young age, surviving two major brain surgeries, and two VNS implants, yet continued to experience severe epileptic seizures being unable to work. Justin was his parents’ hero, despite his circumstance he never let it change his beautiful caring heart. He rarely thought of himself, always helped his family, and was willing to help anyone with anything.
Justin had a passion for creating art, enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering and watching Pokémon, anime, and Killer Clowns from Outer Space. He delighted in the company of his friends, his cat, Jynxi and his dog, Mika.
Justin is survived by his parents, John and Cindy Greven, of Enid; his sister Amber Mercado and husband Gabe, three nieces, Kinsley, Avary, and Emmy, his uncle’s Steve Young, Tyler Louthan, and Terry Miller and his step-grandfather, Kent Louthan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Connie Young Louthan and Ronald Young and his paternal grandparents, Ed and Mary Beth Greven.
