October 29, 1929 ~ August 13, 2017

The funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of Edouard Greven, 87, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday August 18, 2017 in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Frisbie officiating. Cremation will follow. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born October 29, 1929 to Guillaum Greven and Anna Pick in Luxembourg and passed from this life on August 13, 2017 in Enid, OK. He was raised and educated in Luxenburg and started cutting hair at the age of fourteen. He enlisted in the Luxenburg Army and came to the United States on the Queen Elizabeth 2 arriving in New York on December 26, 1944. He then joined the United States Air Force and trained at Vance Air Force Base where he met his future Wife, Mary Beth Hayes. The couple was married February 15, 1959 in San Antonio TX. The couple returned to Enid, where they made their home.

He was a lifelong Barber and owner of the Razers Edge Barbershop.

He was the former President of the state barber board.

He was a very active member of the American Business Club and later the Enid Noon AMBUCS and was a member of their Big Hat club, The Air Force Association where he founded enlisted appreciation night. He was appointed to the Enid Police Civil Service Commission. He was a licensed real-estate broker and was a Mason.

He is survived by son, John and wife Cindy of Enid, Granddaughter Amber and husband Gabe Mercado of Enid, grandson, Justin of Enid and 2 great granddaughters, Kinsley and Avary Mercado.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Beth.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
