Richard Alan Gregg

Richard Alan Gregg
June 17, 1966 ~ March 18, 2020

Richard Alan Gregg died on March 18, 2020 at his aunt’s home in Austin Texas after a valiant struggle to beat cancer. He was born on June 17, 1966. He attended Enid High School and Vo-tech. After graduation he worked in steel mill cutting steel with plasma cutters and torches. He also worked in the oil fields. In 2015 he moved to Tampa Florida and worked in an aluminum screen door factory.

Survived by his wife, Valenda (Midwest City, Ok); his brothers: Shane Gregg and wife Victoria (Lindsay); Corey Gregg and wife, Tiffany (Burns Flat); his sister: Robin Gregg Lambert and husband Kevin (Enid) his stepchildren: Brenda Reese ( Enid); Carol Millet (Enid); and Robby Damron (Midwest City, OK). Aunts and Uncles:Elaine Dowell Carroll and husband, Bob Carroll (Austin, Texas); Richard Gregg (Phoenix, AZ); Jay Gregg and wife, Dorothea ( Dallas, Texas); Kurt Gregg and his wife Trish ( Clinton); Many Nieces and nephews. And his very special friend, Audrey Stanley and her son Chris Stanley (Tampa, Florida).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marvadean Elizabeth Dowell Gregg and his father, Phillip Gregg; and grandparents:Dean and Mary Dowell and Harry and Irma Gregg.

Richard was a brave, kind, and gentle soul. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of your choice.

Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Pastor Doug Brothers will officiate.
