Mamie Jordan Greenwood

FARWELL - Mamie Jordan Greenwood, 86, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard A. Laverty, pastor, and the Rev. Larry Mitchell, pastor of First Baptist Church at Des Moines, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park at Littlefield.

Mrs. Greenwood was born in Hico, Earth County. She married Dewey Lee Greenwood in 1929 at Waurika, Okla.; he died in 1966. She had lived in Farwell since 1980, moving from Littlefield. She was a member of Friendship Sunday School Class and First Baptist Church. She was a bookkeeper and a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Elinor Dodd of Brownwood and Ava Nell Sewell of Farwell; a brother, Laleon Jordan of Wolforth; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to Farwell Convalescent Center or Hospice of Lubbock, 4314 S. Loop 289, Lubbock, Texas 79413.
