Sheila Louise (Koehler) Green

The funeral for Sheila will be Monday November 6th at 2:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Wade Burleson is officiating.

Sheila was born in Enid to Tommy and Wanda Koehler. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.

She attended many schools in NW Oklahoma. She worked hard and earned her bachelor's degree from Northwestern Oklahoma University.

She was married to Ricky Green. They were blessed with 2 boys. Derek and Dustin. They raised their family in Waukomis, later moving to Enid.

She worked for Bob Dunlap Dozer services and made many lifelong friends in and around Waukomis. She later went to work for Advanced Water Solutions until she was no longer able to work.

Sheila was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church and cherished her Women's groups. She volunteered at The Regional Heritage Center. 

Sheila is survived by her son Derek and wife Jennifer of Wellston OK, Amanda Green and fiancé Mick Boland of Enid; grandchildren Rebekah, Elijah and Julie of Enid; her siblings Tom and Becky Koehler of Enid, Debbie and Bob Perry of Waukomis, Janet Anderson of Enid, Cindy Arias of Enid, Steven and Vickie Yadon of Enid, Brenda and Jeff Ball of Springfield, Il, Ronnie and Marsha Green of Jefferson, Randy Green of Enid; mother-in-law Mary Green of Pond Creek; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tommy Koehler and Wanda Oldridge, Husband Ricky Green and her son Dustin Green and brother Mike Koehler. 

"You are so loved Sheila. We will miss you forever. God blessed us all with you in our lives. We know you are at peace and healthy in your heavenly home. We love you." 

The family has requested, instead of flowers, memorial checks may be made payable to either Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or Jefferson United Methodist Church with Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service serving as custodian of the fund.
