Robert Earl "Pearl" Green

Robert Earl "Pearl" Green
June 23, 1950 ~ April 21, 2018 (age 67)

Robert Earl Green was born June 23, 1950 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Lady Louise (Haynes) and Joe Earl Green. He passed away April 21, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 29 days.

Robert grew up in Elk City where he graduated from Elk City High School in 1968. After graduation he furthered his education at Sayre Junior College and later began working for his father at the Elk Body Shop. He was married to Catherine Marie (Church) Green in Wheeler, Texas on October 22, 1976. They continued to make Elk City their home where they raised their family. In 1980 Robert and his father became partners in the auto body shop until his father's death in 1985 when he became the sole owner. He continued to operate the shop until November of 2011 when he retired. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, hunting and attending The University of Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboy football games. Robert seemed the happiest when he was spending time with his son, Andy. If you saw one of them, you saw them both. After his retirement you would see Robert and Andy running all over town, spending their day hanging out at their favorite places. Robert was also very fond of his nieces and nephews and all their accomplishments.

He is preceded in death by his father, sister, Shala Hart, maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of the home, 3 children, Kasey Estrada and husband, Gus, Albuquerque, NM, Amanda Dye and husband, Travis, Montrose, PA and Andy Green, Guthrie, OK; 4 grandchildren, Luke Estrada, Tyler Dye, Sam Estrada and Tayler Dye; his mother, Louise Green, Ardmore, OK; 1 sister, Shannon Hutton and husband, Rodney, Ardmore, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Deanna Mosburg and husband, Joe, Custer City, OK; 2 brothers-in-law, David Church and wife, Audrey Okemah, OK and Sam Church and wife, Lisa, Canute, OK and a host of relatives and friends.
