September 11, 1950 ~ February 05, 2018

A Celebration of Life Service for Karen D. Green, 67, Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Karen was born September 11, 1950, in Blackwell, to Nelson and Doris Burns Brink and passed away at her home on February 5, 2018. 

She attended Star Spencer School prior to moving to Hennessey, where she graduated from Hennessey High School in 1968. Karen attended O.T. Autry Vo-Tech and was part of the first graduating class.

She moved to Enid and married John H. Green on April 19, 1969. Karen worked at Champlin Oil, Union Equity and Farmland, and later as the well-loved executive assistant at Equity Marketing Alliance.

Karen was a caring, loving, and generous mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, and trips to the casino. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Daniel and husband Kyle of Prosper, Texas, and Cindi Cathey and husband Brian of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Kinley and Kamryn Daniel, and Bryson Cathey; sister, Sheri Rigdon and husband Alan of Lampe, Missouri; brother, Keith Brink and wife Becky of Moore; and countless other family members and friends.
