James Eugene “Jim” Green, 72, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his home in Hartshorne.
The family will respect Jim’s request of no memorial service.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
James E. Green, 72, of Hartshorne, OK was called to our heavenly father’s side on December 28, 2014. Jim was born July 4, 1942 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Edgar E. and Elsie L. (Clawson) Green. He served in the United States Navy, retiring in 1986 after a 20 year career, at the rank of Master Chief, receiving many awards. He was a dedicated and loyal Navy veteran and will be remembered for his love and passion for his family and his sacrifice for his country and loved ones. He was the head of a family whose love will only be measured through legacies. Jim will never be forgotten but only missed in our lives. We know he’ll be there and always be watching.
He is survived by: His sister, Brenda Dalpaos and husband, Victor of Hartshorne, Oklahoma Two brothers: Mike Green and wife, Debbie of Yukon, Oklahoma and Rick Green and wife, Vickie of Moore, Oklahoma
He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Edgar and Elsie Green and a sister, Linda Green.
