July 10, 1953 ~ April 23, 2014 (age 60)

Lee Gray was born on July 10, 1953, and passed from this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.  Lee relocated from New Hampshire in 1983 and became a resident of Noble, OK in 1992.  He was involved in the Noble community, where he served as the Chairman of the Planning Committee, founded and became the vice-president of the Noble Farmers Market, helped organize Chuck Wagon Suppers, and many other city-wide projects.  Lee coached Optimist basketball for four years and Youth in Action basketball for two years.  He was a retired bus driver at OU where he worked since 1985.

Lee enjoyed many interests.  He had a great love for horses, (riding, trail riding, team penning, horseshoeing), camping, gardening, hunting, gun collecting, wood working, stone carving, and always having time for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Lee obeyed the gospel in June 1998 and he was an active member of the Westside church of Christ for the past eleven years. He helped serve communion, read Scripture, participated in the Thanksgiving basket giveaway, food pantry collection, school supply giveaway, and always greeted everyone he met coming in the door.

Lee married Dianne Gray on June 1, 1992.  He was a loving stepfather and grandfather to Keith Sharp of Norman; Kerrens Sharp and his children, Korben and Kole of Norman; Kevin and Susan Langford and their children, Connor and Kenzie of Argyle, TX; Matt and Ashley Langford and their son, Beck of Norman; and Chris Langford of Norman.  He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Forcier, two nieces, one nephew, and numerous friends.

Memorial Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Westside Church of Christ, 726 McGee Drive in Norman.

Arrangements for Lee and his family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be shared at www.HavenbrookFuneralHome.com.
