DeMario O'Keith (Sparky) Gray, Jr. 20, of Atoka, Oklahoma passed away Saturday December 7, 2019 of Injuries due to a motor vehicle accident in Atoka County. He was born December 10, 1998 in Ada, Oklahoma.
He attended and was a graduate from Durant schools where he was very active in football, wrestling and weight lifting teams with placing in the state in power lifting. He worked at Hardy Farms where his goal was to become a truck driver for Hardy Farms.
DeMario was full of life and adventure. There was never a dull moment when he was around cracking jokes. He had a huge heart of gold and smile that could light any room up. DeMario always gave 110 % in everything he attempted and was never a quiter. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, hunting and playing video games.
He was preceded in death by his Father DeMario O'Keith Gray, Sr. Grandmother Margaret Gray and Aunt Amber Williamson.
Surviving is his Mother Christie (Williamson) Gray of Armstrong, OK. Great Grandmother Lennie Anderson of Detroit, Michigan. Grandparents Steve and Pam Williamson of Armstrong, OK. and Debbie Johnson of Ferndale, Michigan. Siblings April Clay of Brownstown, Michigan. Madison Williamson Gray of Durant, OK. Twin Brother DeMarco Gray and girlfriend Robin Farrell and Makayla Gray all of Armstrong, OK. Niece Ah'Mya Scott of Brownstown, Michigan. Nephews Zayne Gray of Armstrong, OK. and Aiden Seldon of Brownstown, Michigan. Aunts Rhonda (Cookie) Gray and Maria Timberlake both of Michigan and Stephenia Harper and Husband Shane of Durant. OK. Uncles DeAngelo Gray of Michigan, Steven Kaleb (Shorty) Williamson of Atoka, OK. Micaah Williamson of Armstrong, OK. and Mickie Johnson of Michigan. Special Friends Jason Prater, Tyler Olive, Moma & Pops Olive and Robert (Red) Eakin along with a host of Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and extended family and friends.
A Celebration of the Life of DeMario O'Keith (Sparky) Gray, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon December 14, 2019 at the Armstrong Baptist Church with Reverend Monty Wood officiating. Family night will be held Friday night from 6-8 at the Armstrong Baptist Church.

A Caddo man was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Atoka
County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Twenty-year-old Demario Gray
was dead at the scene of the 2:10 p.m. crash on Old Broom Road west of
Atoka.
OHP said Gray was driving a pickup northbound when the vehicle traveled over a hill and Gray lost control. The pickup departed the roadway, rolled multiple times and struck a tree.
Gray was pinned for about 45 minutes until being freed by Atoka firefighters using an emergency extraction tool. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to head and internal-trunk injuries, according to OHP.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, according to Trooper Jamey Miller’s report. It was not known if Gray was wearing a seat belt.
The Atoka County Sheriff’s Office, Atoka Fire Department, Wards Chapel Fire Department, Atoka County EMS and Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office assisted at the scene.
