Carol Rae (Garner) Gray
June 5, 1937 ~ October 19, 2020

Carol Rae Gray, 83, of Ponca City, passed from this life on October 19, 2020. A private family graveside will take place Friday, October 23, 2020, with a viewing planned on Thursday October 22nd from noon to 8pm. Face masks are required. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Carol was born on June 5, 1937, in Ponca City to Myrel and Vivian (Ross) Garner. She spent many years as a teacher and director at Kinder Care. She had the privilege of teaching two generations of the same family. She and her husband, John, also owned and operated Feathersville Saloon in Idaho. Where she was a member of the Idaho Snow Riders club. Once they moved back to Ponca City, she and John enjoyed hosting amazing family gatherings. No one ever went hungry at her house. She loved crafting and all things outdoors, including hunting with her husband.

Her grandkids and great-grandkids were most important to her.

She is survived by her children Cheryl Cales and Stewart and Lyman Gray. Her grandchildren include; Caroline Printy and Brandon, Tiffany Faulk, Alicia Joyner & Jarrod Taylor, Erin Noble, Jason Cales and Angie, Eric Cales and Oaloa Shockley; great-grandchildren include; Chase, Ryan, CJ, Joshua, Deacon, Willow, Emma, Ivy Lou, Hunter, Gage, Abigail and Sage; great-great-grandchildren, Noah and Carter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association, 6601 Broadway Ext suite 120, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
