Wenona "Nona" (Sikes) Gravlin
May 6, 1936 ~ July 28, 2006

Wenona ("Nona") Gravlin , passed away Friday, July 28, 2006 after a 5 year battle with cancer. She was born in Oklahoma City on May 6, 1936.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dick Gravlin; children: Debbie Jones and husband Randy and Steve; grandchildren: Jennifer and Chad Thompson, Christen and Matt Gravlin; and brother, Bill Sikes.

She graduated from Classen High School in 1954. Nona enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, painting and anything else she set her mind to, although her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She served for several years as a Board member for the Arts Festival Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Marie Sikes; sisters: Sue See and Helen Shaw. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fdn.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 6934 S. Western, OKC.
