Dale Graves

January 27, 1931 ~ August 17, 2019

Dale Graves, 88 of Durant, OK passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Calera, OK. He was born January 27, 1931 in Rigley, California to Ferdenan and Hazel Heffleybauer Graves. Dale married Freeda Joan Woods in Reno, Nevada in 1967. They lived in Marshall County since 1990 then moved to Durant two years ago. Dale was a member of the Church of Christ and loved doing crossword puzzles. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons Gary Lane and Raymond Lane.

Dale is survived by his wife Freeda of the home, four daughters Tamara Taylor and fiancé Terry Lewis of Broken Arrow, OK, Cheryl Phelps and husband Gary of Durant, Sandra Bishop of Dallas, Leona Frymire and husband Charley of Kingston, and one son Dale Graves and wife Misty of Roff, OK., 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
