Cody Don Skeeter Grantham, resident of Ponca City, passed Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Ponca City. He was 22 years of age.
Cody was born October 20, 1992 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Richard Michael Grantham and Theresa Diana (Lister) Grantham. Cody was a 2011 graduate of Ponca City High School where he participated in football. He was recently employed with SLC (Supported Community Lifestyles) in Ponca City.
Cody enjoyed participating in motocross, Frisbee golf and fishing. He always enjoyed making people laugh.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Grantham, of the home; his father Richard Grantham of Muldrow, Oklahoma; one sister, Leta Coldiron and husband Chance, of Moore, Oklahoma; one niece, Kaidence Coldiron and one nephew, Kale Coldiron; his maternal grandmother, Juanita Chandler of Ponca City; Aunt/Uncles; Nancy Wolfe-Hines, of Anthony, Kansas; Chrissy Chambers and Randy, of Muldrow, Oklahoma; Glenn Hines and Laurie, of Enid, Oklahoma; Joe Hines and Sandy, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Leon Meadows, of Ponca City; Freddie Grantham, Rick Elsworth, Eddie Snider, of Arkansas; Cousins; Larry, Brianna, Amanda, of Arkansas; Audra and JR Hines, of Enid, Oklahoma; Ashley and Sergio Aguilar, Children; Clayton, Sergio Jr, Julian and Cristian Aguilar, of Ponca City; Jeffrey and Krystina Todd, Children; Christopher, Joseph and Aiden Todd, of Anthony, Kansas; Jacob and Stephanie Hines, Children; Landon, Coby and Makenzie Hines, of Ponca City; Sarah Hotchkin, Children; Mila Hotchkin, of Burden, Kansas; Ty Cruze, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Lane and Sophia Meadows, of Ponca City; Joey, Rusty, Brandi Chambers, of Muldrow, Arkansas; Desiree, James, Shane, Christopher, Sarah Elsworth, of Arkansas; Julie, Jennifer, Josh, Jeremiah Mills, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Freddie and Tyler Grantham, of Missouri.
Cody was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother Rose Elkins, paternal Aunt Lynn Mills, and maternal cousin Mason Meadows
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 16th at Grace Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 in the First Baptist Church Worship Center with Pastor Blaine Herron of the Ponca City Foursquare Gospel Church presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
