March 18, 1997 ~ April 6, 2023 (age 26)

Shayla Nicole Grant the daughter of Derrick Grant and Shana (Shepard) McClure was born March 18, 1997, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and she departed this life on April 6, 2023, in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 26 years and 19 days.

Shayla grew up in Westville, Oklahoma and graduated from Westville High School in 2016. Shayla worked as a security guard for Cherokee Casino in West Siloam. She was currently working for WD Farms in Roland, Oklahoma. Shayla loved to skateboard, hike, art and tattoos. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, and especially aunt. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly. Shayla was a special soul who loved deeply and touched many lives over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include mother Shana and husband Robert McClure; father Derrick Grant; three brothers Dylon Grant and wife Courtney, Darrin Grant and fiance' Lindey and Kristian McClure; sister Marney Grant; paternal grandfather Don Grant; maternal grandmother Connie Shepard; platonic partner Roger Garibay; nieces and nephews Kyleigh Tehee, Raegan Grant, Rylee Grant, Rhiver Grant and one nephew on the way. A host of Aunts and Uncles friends and other relatives also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her Nanny Glenda Jean Grant.
