Celebration of life services for Karon Denise Graham, 63, Enid, will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Your Family Church (1301 N. Independence) with Chaplain Drew Drawbridge, Ross Hospice Chaplain. Committal prayers will be held in Scotland under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Karon was born on August 18, 1954 in Holdenville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Warren Bertrand and Ivhon McGee Graham, and passed away peacefully on December 23, 2017 at her residence. She was raised in numerous towns in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.
Karen started working for Vance Air Force Base in 1987, working in medical transcription and secretarial pool. In 2000, Karon was promoted to Resource Advisor for the medical squadron at Vance Air Force Base, retiring in January of 2017. She was a former member of the board of directors of Horn of Plenty. Karon had a lifelong love for sewing, crochet, and quilting.
Survivors include her son, Rick Graham of Drummond; sisters, Barbara Wright of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Pat Beams of Longview, Texas,Torcia Buchanan of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Sharron Brooks of Lamesa, Texas.
Karon was preceded in passing by her parents, Warren and Ivhon Graham, and brother, Gary Graham.
