David was born in Pocasset, Oklahoma on June 7, 1939. David graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City. He then attended Oklahoma University until his entrepreneurial skills called his name. David found his niche in mobile homes. In 1980 he opened AllTexas Mobile Home Brokers and Sales, Inc. in McKinney, Texas. In addition, he had his real estate broker’s license. He had a long run of success in the mobile home and real estate business. Up to his death he continued this work.

David’s children and grandchildren remember him as a hard worker that expected the same from them. His children and several grandchildren worked for him and recall a workday that was much longer than what is traditionally considered a workday. He liked to joke and poke fun with you. He was a man full of wise quotes. If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him a lifetime.

David attended Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and 1st Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.
