Shanna LeAnn Gorrell, 49, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on January 19, 2023, at her home in Kingston. She was born June 3, 1973, in Madill, Oklahoma to Shelia and Wayne Scott. Shanna graduated from Madill High in 1991 and had her first son Landon, in 1992. Soon after she met the love of her life, Hugh. They got married on a sunny day in July of 93 and started their beautiful journey together having two more children, Silas Ethan and Addie Mae. After her children all started school, she attended Murray State College where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. Shanna then worked at Fran Drummond for 7 years before she went on to start her career with the Chickasaw Nation as a Long-Term Care Manager. When her children were younger, she and Hugh enjoyed taking family fishing trips and planting flowers together. As her children got into their teenage years, she enjoyed being at every event to support them, and was often one of the loudest fans there. Shanna’s favorite title of all though, was nanny. She enjoyed spending all the time she could with her grand-babies, Isaiah, Wesson, and Bransyn. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God church.
Shanna is survived by Husband Silas Hughlon Gorrell Jr., Kingston, Oklahoma. Children Silas Ethan Cort Gorrell and wife Maria, Madill, Oklahoma; Landon Vance Clemens, Kingston, Oklahoma; Addie Mae Gorrell and husband Blaine Stephens, Kingston, Oklahoma. 3 Grandchildren Isaiah Bryan Gorrell, Wesson Blaine Stephens and Bransyn Wayne Stephens.
