Timothy Gordon

Timothy Gordon
July 17, 1963 ~ January 27, 2021

Timothy Gordon, 57, of Justin, TX, former resident of Enid, passed away from COVID-19 which complicated diabetes, kidney disease, and brought on heart issues.

Tim was born in Milford, CT, to Roland (Bob) and Pauline Gordon. He was raised in Newtown, CT, and later moved to Oklahoma and Arkansas, where he met the love of his life, Sarah. The two were united in marriage on May 12, 1987.

Tim worked in various jobs with his career ending in 2019 when he retired due to health reasons after 13 years as manager of Rent-A-Center in Enid, where he had received numerous awards.

Tim is survived by his wife Sarah of the home; father Bob of Camas, WA; one son, Jeremey (Cindy) Dawson of Enid; two daughters, Stephanie (Matt) Lentz of Justin, TX, and Kristina (Jerry) Venable of Enid; two sisters, Linda (Doug) Burckhard of Camas, WA and Brenda Gordon of CT; one brother, Bruce Gordon of Lehigh Acres, FL; Mother-in-law, Shirley Simmons of Springdale, AR; four sisters-in-law, Debbie (Barry) Phillips of Las Vegas, NV; Diana Simmons and Cynthia Simmons of Springdale, AR; and Linda (James) Laughter of Hindsville, AR; one brother-in-law, Rick (Brenda) Simmons of Bella Vista, AR; eight grandchildren, Corey, Kyle, Brian, Makayla, Briana, Valeria, Braxton, and Piper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline; father-in-law, Wyman Simmons; brothers-in-laws, Randy and Everett Simmons, and Dick Locke; and sisters-in-law, Rebecca Byrd and Brenda Simmons.

Due to COVID, memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation under the direction of Brown, Owens, and Brumley Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Fort Worth.
