Marjorie Jane (Borck) Gordon "Marge" was born August 19, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Blanche Borck; she passed this life on June 27, 2010 in Crescent, Oklahoma.
Marge and Robert "Bob" Gordon were married on November 19, 1949 in Toledo. Marge was a stay-at-home mother for her five children. She returned to work as a secretary at the T G & Y headquarters shortly after moving to Oklahoma City in 1974. She worked until the mid 1980�s when the department store chain was sold. In her retirement, Marge primarily enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marge loved music, "Big Band" in particular. She played the piano and always enjoyed a board game or game of cards with family and friends.
Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who absolutely adored her children and grand children. Survivors include 3 sons, Gregory Gordon and wife Jean of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; Keith Gordon and wife Debbie of Crescent, Oklahoma; Gary Gordon and wife Yvonne of Frisco, Texas; and one daughter, Cindy Bowlware and husband David of Pottsboro, Texas. 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Robert II.
Memorial service will held at 2:00 p.m. July 16, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Crescent. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Alzheimer Association or the First Christian Church of Crescent, Oklahoma.
