Judith Ann "Judy" Goodwin, 67, of Grapevine, Texas, formerly of Poteau, passed away Aug. 24, 2009, in Grapevine.
She was born Nov. 5, 1941, in San Diego, Calif. She was a Walmart Associate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Goodwin; a son, Gary Goodwin; and her parents, Robert Lewis and Jeanett Elizabeth (Sands) Garland.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Goodwin of Tulsa; a daughter and son-inlaw, Stacy and Shayne Hilburn of Grapevine; a grandson, Joshua Goodwin of Kingston; two granddaughters, Shayna Hilburn and Hailye Hilburn, both of Grapevine; two brothers, Robert Garland Jr. of Oregon and Charles Garland of San Diego; two sisters, Joann Krabbe of Anaheim, Calif., and Barbara Darrow of El Cajon, Calif.; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Panama with Rev. Brian Smith and Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment will follow at noon in Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Jim Daugherty, Tim Daugherty, Raymond Goodwin, Henry Hinz, Clyde Perkins and Thomas Goodwin.
