James Brown Goode

James B. Goode, 87 of Ramona, OK, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Muskogee, OK.

He was born June 14, 1920 in Beebe, AR to C.C. and Annie Goode. He had lived in this area since 1986 coming from Louisiana. He was a member of the Church of Christ being baptized December 10, 1935 in Hot Springs, Ark. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans after serving in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea.

He is survived by his wife Sibyl R. Goode of the home. 3 Sons: Phillip L. Goode of Brandon, MS, James E. Goode and his wife Dianne of Little Rock, AR, and Paul T. Goode and his wife Carla of Ramona, OK. 2 sisters: Bonnie Hopwood of Little Rock AR and Flo Dean Stewart of Sherwood, AR. and 9 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Church of Christ in Collinsville, OK with Mr. Bud Tibbles officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Pine Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Collegeville, AR. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
