Doris Lee Gooch, 76, of Wapanucka, passed away on September 17, 2022 at her home in Wapanucka with family by her side. Doris was born on February 11, 1946 in San Diego, CA to Charles Lewis Brown and Doris Genevia (Riley) Brown. She cooked on a military base for many years before cooking at nursing homes and cafes. She was a very hard worker and loved to crochet, study religions, watch westerns, and shop. Doris was a member of the Wapanucka Baptist Church and loved reading her Bible.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son Joseph Lewis Williams.
Doris is survived by her three daughters Alicia Harper and husband Robert of Wapanucka, Tina Harrison and husband Scott of Mead, Kim Williams of Drumwright, OK, two sons John Williams of Wapanucka, and Harold Williams and wife Judy of Wapanucka, three sisters Peggy Hokett, Cindy Miller, and Diane Penantel, two brothers Danny Brown and Michael Brown. Her loving grandchildren Carlene Brown, Erica Harper, Ashley Mayo, Nathan Williams, April Lasater, Zakary Williams, Rhett Williams, Tuesday Meadows, Danielle Harrison, Elizabeth Harrison, and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, October 1, 2022, at Wapanucka Baptist Church.
