ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Danny L. Goff, 65, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Chapel.
Danny was born May 3, 1948, in Harford, Ark., to H.L. and Sue Quinlivian Goff and died Friday, June 28, 2013, in Enid.
He grew up in Enid.
Danny served in the U.S. Army from 1967, until his discharge in 1970. He served in the Vietnam War, receiving the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
On June 2, 1967, he married Donna Andrus in Enid, where they made their home.
Danny was an avid OU fan and golfer. He served on the Men’s League at Meadowlake for many years.
Danny worked in the oilfield, FedEx and most recently the city of Enid in water services.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny; and Grandma Q.
Danny is survived by his wife, Donna of the home; two children, Vian Goff and partner Teri Cantrell and Danny Goff and wife Stacey, all of Enid; brother, Mike Goff; sister, Laura Lamb of Chester; nine grandchildren, Kristin, Josh, Kindra, Celia, Meredith, Ryan, Schyler, Danielle and Devon; two great-grandchildren, Jesse and Cole; mother-in-law, Ellen “Sally” Knierihm of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hess of Oklahoma City, and Annett Lavicky of Rush Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
