Abagael Delaney Godfrey, age 22 of Lexington, OK passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 21, 2019 in Norman. Abagael was born December 1, 1996 in Purcell, OK to Teresa Wilson and Dale Johnson. She spent her early childhood in Guthrie before moving to Lexington at age 10. While living in Lexington, she attended Lexington High School and graduated Valedictorian of her 2015 Senior Class. She was a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society, the Lexington High School Honor Society and the National Honor Society. She was on the High School Debate Team and was honored as an Oklahoma Academic Scholar. For the past three years she has been attended O. U. studying Human Relations and Spanish.

While in high school, Abagael worked for Walgreens in Purcell and later for Walgreens in Norman for a total of five years. For the past three months she has been employed at Ariston Reality in Moore, OK. Abagael was a wonderful, sweet and compassionate young woman. She loved her family, she treasured her friends and she adored her cat "Luna".

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Laverne Rose Affolter; brother, Chris Godfrey. She is survived by her mother, Teresa Godfrey of Purcell; father, Dale Johnson of Laverne; grandfather, Bob Affolter; brothers, Tim Godfrey of Georgia and J. L. Logue of Noman. Her aunts, Vickie Wilson of Purcell and Paula Browning of Lexington. Her uncle, David Bratcher of Tribbey. Her God father, Bill Woods of Kansas and God father and mentor, David Sharp of Slaughterville, OK.  Several cousins including Sandy Rose Wick of Norman.

Abagael also leaves many friends and co-workers as well as teachers and staff from the Lexington Schools who nurtured her love of learning. A special thanks to Abbie's many friends for being so good to her and her family. Also thanks to Harmony and Brandon and Britney and her mother Anna, for their love and friendship. "Rest in Peace Abbie Girl", you will always be a part of us.

A time of remembrance is scheduled with family and friends on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at Wilson-Little Funeral Home, 127 South Canadian St. in Purcell, OK. You may send online condolences to the family @wilsonlittle.com.
