Jay Jefferson Goad, 53, born January 1, 1955 in Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Guthrie, Oklahoma on October 9, 2008.
Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents Ben and Alice Harris, Buck and Betty Goad and brother Jerry.
Survivors include his loving wife Nancy of the home. Daughter Jennifer Adams and husband Oscar Quilimaco, two sons, Ricky and wife Jamie Herbert and Michael Herbert all of Guthrie, seven grandchildren; Ryan, Veronica and Joshua Adams; Jacob, Alessa, Haley and Zoe Herbert all of Guthrie, six brothers and their wives; LeRoy and Rosie of Canute, Oklahoma, Kenneth and Liz of Independence Missouri, Jackie and Becky of Ottawa, Kansas, Johnnie and Connie of Red Rock, Oklahoma, Jimmie and Debbie, Jody and Kathy all of Guthrie, Oklahoma, two sisters; JoAnn and husband Art Corcoran and Jeannie Knittle of Guthrie. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. Jay was a true blue Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed fishing with his buds and watching his grandchildren grow.
Memorial services will be held at Central Oklahoma Christian Camp in Guthrie, Oklahoma, October 18, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Cushing.
