Melodie Eileen Glover

Melodie Eileen Glover
December 11, 1952 ~ June 7, 2026

Melodie Eileen Glover, born on December 11, 1952, in Hollis, Oklahoma, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, thoughtfulness, and steady devotion to the people and places she loved.

Melodie lived a life marked by kindness to friends and quiet strength. She was the daughter of the late LG Glover Jr. and the late Gladine Criswell Glover, both of whom helped shape the values that guided her throughout her life. She carried those values with her in all that she did, meeting others with warmth, strength, and a genuine concern for their well-being. Those who knew her best will remember her as a woman whose presence brought comfort.

She was raised with a strong sense of family and responsibility, and those qualities remained at the center of her life. Melodie shared a lasting bond with her brothers, Glenn A. Glover(Judy) of Camden, Arkansas, and Larry W. Glover of Lafayette, Louisiana. Family meant a great deal to her, and she treasured the connections.

Melodie pursued her education with purpose and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She understood the value of hard work and carried herself with a quiet confidence that earned the respect of those around her. Education was one of the many ways she prepared herself to serve others and to build a meaningful life.

A large part of Melodie’s life was devoted to her long career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber, where she worked for 32 years. Her years there were a testament to her loyalty, work ethic, and ability to contribute faithfully over time. She was known as someone who could be counted on, and her long service reflected the pride she took in doing her job well. Through decades of work, she formed lasting relationships and left a positive impression on colleagues who appreciated her dependable nature and kind spirit.

Beyond her work, Melodie was remembered for the way she treated others. She was kind in both word and deed, and thoughtful in the way she considered the needs and feelings of those around her. These qualities were not occasional traits, but the steady foundation of her character. She had a gentle manner that made others feel welcome, and she carried herself with a calm dignity that inspired trust and affection.

Melodie’s life was one of quiet significance, built not on grand gestures but on consistent acts of care, loyalty, and sincerity. She touched the lives of many through her presence, her example, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will remain a source of comfort to those who knew her, and her influence will continue to be felt in the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her earthly journey has ended, the legacy of Melodie Eileen Glover will endure in the memories she created, the relationships she cherished, and the kindness she shared throughout her life.

Per Melodie wishes, no services will be held.
