Joe Edward Glasgow
May 13, 1956 ~ September 2, 2023

The celebration of life of Joe Edward Glasgow, 67, of Stillwater, formerly of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 6 at Central Christian Church in Enid, OK.

Joe Edward Glasgow passed at his home in Stillwater, OK on September 2, 2023. Joe was born in Okeene, OK to Alden and Marlene Glasgow on May 13, 1956. He was raised in Fairview, OK, where he played football, farmed, and made life-long friends. In 1977, Joe met Heidi Oxford of Oklahoma City, OK. They married in 1980 and raised two children together. Joe was a dedicated family man, a lover of books and puzzles, and a mechanically-minded problem solver. He was also an avid fisherman, scuba diver, and marine life enthusiast. Joe took pride in his children and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He served his community through volunteer work. Underneath Joe’s reserved nature was a great sense of humor and a kind spirit that took joy in making those he loved happy.

Joe is survived by his wife Heidi of Stillwater, OK; their daughter Christina McCoy and her husband Jeremy of Stillwater, OK; their son Jeff Glasgow and his wife Anum of New York, NY; Christina’s two children Caleb and Evan; Joe’s three siblings: James Glasgow (Debbie), John Glasgow (Jeanette), and Susan Glasgow; his brother-in-law Roderick Oxford; numerous extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Welcome Table at Central Christian Church, Enid, OK, or the HealthWell Foundation (healthwellfoundation.org), a non-profit organization that assists patients with chronic or life-altering diseases.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at WWW.EnidCremation.com.
