Connie Lee (Trest) Givan, age 85, of Cache passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.
Connie was born on October 24, 1932 in Walters, Oklahoma to Quanah and Bessie (Handy) Trest. She graduated Salutatorian of the Cache High School class of 1950 and attended college at the University of Oklahoma.
On May 20, 1953, she married her one true love, Philip T. Givan, in Lawton and they would spend the next sixty-four wonderful years together. Connie worked civil service and retired from the City of Lawton. She spent a lifetime taking care of people and rescue dogs.
Preceded in death by her parents, Quanah Q. and Bessie L. Trest; one brother that died at birth and two sisters, Louise Pollina and Sadie Hood,
Connie is survived by her daughter, Mary Nicosia and husband Salvatore of Cache; her son, Scott T. Givan and wife Dawn of La Grange, Texas; one niece, Kimberly Hood; three grandchildren, Easton Cox, Daxton Givan and MaKenzie Givan along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
