Novalene Gill Of Apache, Oklahoma Was born March 2, 1934 in Apache, to Guy and Ida (Love) Waugh. She passed away at her home in Apache on November 19, 2017 at the age of 83.
As a child, Novalene worked the hay fields of Caddo County with her father, tying bales. She met her husband, George Gill while baling hay. They were married November of 1950 . He preceded her in death May 10, 2003. She obtained her GED and graduated with her daughter, Betty. She worked as a caretaker in the Home Health field for many years. Novalene also worked at the Sale Barn Café and the Warrior Hut Café.
Novalene kept busy with her many hobbies, including, fishing, woodworking, embroidery, sewing and quilting. She made many of George's western-style shirts. She loved cooking and trying new recipes out on her family. She also enjoyed gardening and watching the birds. Reading and working puzzles were among her favorite pass times.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November
25th at 10:00 A.M at the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kip Ackley
officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction
of Crews Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
