JUANITA GILBREATH - Graveside services for Juanita Gilbreath, 92, of Gainesville, Texas, were Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville. Officiating was Rev. W.J. Idell.
Mrs. Gilbreath was born December 4, 1907, in Pumpkin Center, Kansas, the daughter of George Cornelius & Jenny Marie Adelman Culp, and died January 10, 2000, in Pecan Tree Manor, Gainesville.
Mrs. Gilbreath was a homemaker and a member of the Broadway Church of Christ. She and Barney McCoy Gilbreath were married September 14, 1928, in Gainesville.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, George & Jean Gilbreath, Coy & Theresa Gilbreath, Clovis & Julia Gilbreath, and Barney & Margaret Gilbreath, all of Gainesville; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie & Glendon Harper of Thackerville; a brother, Henry Culp of Uvalde, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Gilbreath was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Loy (Pete) & Jenell Gilbreath; granddaughters, Shelia Gilbreath and Penny Marie Harper; sisters, Pearl Brewer and Mary Butler; and brothers, Jack, Bill, Claude and Dick Culp.
Services were conducted by Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
